What is your current job title and responsibilities?
Program Assistant, provide support to the Director and faculty of The Center for Success of Women Faculty.
I manage the day to day operations of the center.
What is your history at UCF? (past job titles, responsibilities)
I started at UCF in 2001 with the Women’s Research Center, which is now the UCF Center for Success of Women Faculty.
What is your favorite UCF memory?
My 2nd day on the job, I got a raise!!
If you could change one thing at UCF, what would it be? ($ and time no object)
Build covered outdoor areas for all to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your colleagues
Smile when picking up the phone, the caller will hear it in your voice.
What is your favorite restaurant or food?
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Orlando, FL
Maxime’s Restaurant in Winnipeg, MB Canada…..best chicken souvlaki
What is your favorite book or movie or song?
Any movie or TV series by Alfred Hitchcock, The Birds is my favorite.
What is your dream vacation spot?
Would love to visit the South Pacific, especially Bora Bora
What is your favorite sport to watch or participate?
Hockey and Curling, I am Canadian after all!!

A staff lounge would be great

Girlfriends from F&A…….they are a great group of women to natter with.

Name and describe a teacher from you past who truly inspired you.
Mr. Maw, Science/Math teacher from junior high school. I still have contact with Mr. Maw, and he kindly reminds me of my “rebel” ways in junior high school.
If you had a “free” Saturday, how would you spend the day?
I would take our dogs to the ocean and let them run and be free!
