Hired at UCF in 2003 as a Senior Accountant
Promoted to Coordinator in 2004
Promoted to Assistant Director in 2011

What is your favorite UCF memory?
Being recognized at the 2013 annual employee awards programs for 10 years of service.

If you could change one thing at UCF, what would it be? ($ and time no object)
I would correct the salaries of USPS and A&P staff to accurately reflect market values and cost of living.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your colleagues?
Always take pride and ownership for your work, and have integrity.

If UCF was going to name something in your honor, what would you like it to be and why?
A mentoring program for students from low-income families. I believe having a great mentor is vital to a student’s success.

If you could have lunch with anyone at UCF (who you do not normally eat lunch with), who would you choose and why?
An incoming freshman, so I could mentor them.

Who at UCF would you like to thank for your success?
I would like to thank everyone that has mentored me over the years, especially Ms. Karen Cobbs, Director ITR who hired me in 2003 and Mr. John Pittman, Associate Vice President Admin, & Finance. Thank you all for your words of encouragement and guidance.

Name and describe a teacher or researcher from your past who truly inspired you and why.
Dr. Phyllis Rotuno, my former professor at Bethune Cookman University. She was a great professor of accounting who truly listened and understood her students. Her dedication, ethics, and passion for her students inspired me.

What undergraduate or graduate class/program/experience inspired you the most and why?
Receiving my MBA really helped me to look at the world more strategically and globally.
