What is your current job title and responsibilities?
Director, John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government at the University of Central Florida. I am responsible for this program that provides training and technical assistance to local governments, state agencies, and nonprofit organizations in Florida.

What is your history at UCF? (past job titles, responsibilities)
I’ve been at UCF since 1990 after directing the Institute of Government at Valencia (then) Community College for 8 years.

What is your favorite UCF memory?
Designing, developing and managing the Leadership UCF program that is no longer in existence.           

If you could change one thing at UCF, what would it be? ($ and time no object)
Reduce the traffic going into and out of campus and the research park every day. 

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your colleagues?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and break new ground.        

What is your favorite restaurant or food?
Anything chocolate.

What is your dream vacation spot?
The Greek Islands

If UCF was going to name something in your honor, what would you like it to be?
A program to provide university resources to the community.

The Deans I have had the privilege to work with; now Dean Michael Frumkin

 If you had a “free” Saturday, how would you spend the day?
 With my 95 year old mother who is my role model and I frequently do spend my Saturdays with her.
