Center for Success of Women Faculty – 2017 Summer Conference Track
Theme: “Invest in Yourself”
CSWF is now accepting applications for our track for the 2017 Summer Faculty Development Conference to be held from May 8 – 11, 2017. Everyone needs to dedicate some time to thinking, learning and acting on topics that matter most to your professional development regardless of your career stage. Our track will provide you with this time and space.
Our plan is to collaboratively improve our: curriculum vitas, summary/personal statements for awards/promotions, negotiation skills, roadmap our futures, better understand micro-aggressions and bystander engagement, better understand women faculty’s definition of success, plus many additional career-life balance options.
All eligible faculty will receive $800 for participation if they attend the entire conference and submit deliverables (see below) by deadline.
Please complete the following application as either a WORD document or pdf. This track is open to both female and male colleagues. Email completed application to email@example.com
Priority acceptance for proposals is 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 24th. Applications will be accepted after this deadline on a case-by-case basis. Notifications of acceptance will be sent in March.

- Please describe (in 100 words or less) why you would like to participate in this track.
- Your track deliverables will be due one week after the conference ends and will be: a) an updated cv that is understandable to members of the larger UCF community (not just your discipline), and b) a 1-page summary statement that is useful for whatever award or promotion is next on your horizon. Please submit your current cv (long or short version) and please describe (in 100 words or less) what promotion or award is likely to be next for you.
